Amazing salmon log

 

Water crackers or Jatz to serve

250g Philly cheese, softened

2 cups finely grated tasty cheese

½ cupvery finely sliced celery

250g red or pink salmon – drained and deboned

3 x 75g packets flaked almonds

Pinch curry powder

Mix cream and tasty cheese to smooth mix. Add salmon and celery. Mix until smooth and form a shape. Roll in flaked almonds. Serve with shredded lettuce

Baileys dip for fruit

Baileys

4 tbsp brown sugar

300ml sour cream

Place brown sugar in a bowl and add enough Baileys liquor to make a runny paste. Add sour cream and mix well.

Refrigerate at least 3 hours preferably overnight. Serve with banana, strawberries or any fruit.

This dip is also beautiful with butterscotch schnapps instead of baileys.

Choc-chip cookie dough cheeseball OMG

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheese Ball

 Serves: One 4-inch cheese ball

Ingredients

·         8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened

·         1/2 cup butter, softened (add 1/4 teaspoon salt if unsalted)

·         3/4 cup powdered sugar

·         1/2 cup packed brown sugar

·         1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

·         2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1.    In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream and butter until smooth and creamy. Beat in salt if using, powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add 1 cup chocolate chips. Scrape the mixture onto some plastic wrap and form the mixture into a ball. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

2.    In a small shallow bowl or plate, add the remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll into the chocolate chips until completely covered. Refrigerate until ready to serve. For easier spreading, remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving.

Cheeseburger Dip

 

This Dip is AMAZING! Cheesy, Beefy and packed with so much delicious flavor!

INGREDIENTS

·      ½ lb.(225g) ground beef

·      1 cup chopped onion

·      16 oz. (450g) cream cheese, softened

·      ½ cup mayo

·      ¼ cup ketchup

·      ½ cup cooked and chopped bacon

·      1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

·      1 teaspoon salt

·      Sesame Seeds for sprinkling

INSTRUCTIONS

1.   Cook onion and ground beef together in a medium skillet until ground beef is cooked completely. Drain off any excess grease and set aside.

2.   In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese may, ketchup, bacon, cheddar cheese and salt. stir until well combined.

3.   Stir in ground beef mixture.

4.   Pour into an 8x8 pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

5.   Sprinkle some Sesame Seeds over the top prior to serving for a fun cheeseburger look!

Bacon and corn cobb dip

1 cob loaf

250g grated tasty cheese

300ml sour cream

250g philly cheese, softened

210g can creamed corn

6 spring onions finely chopped

6 rashers bacon, cooked and finely chopped 

 

Preheat oven 150 degrees celsius. Scoop out cobb and place cobb on an oven tray with scooped out bite-size pieces around it.

Put all ingredients in a bowl to mix then transfer to cobb loaf. Cook uncovered 1.5 – 2 hours or until top is brown and dip is heated through.

Indian Dip

Makes about 2 cups

225g cream cheese (softened)

1/2 cup whole egg mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tsp curry powder

1 crushed clove garlic

1/2 tsp celery seed and poppy seeds to decorate

salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
